Preston High School

Located in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx where the East River meets the Long Island Sound, the project for Preston High School involves the modernization and expansion of an all girls’ Catholic school.

OCV was brought in to expand the 80,000 sf school by an additional 18,000 sf in three phases.

Phase 1 entails adding a new two-story addition to the West Building, which will include new science labs, classrooms, a faculty lounge and offices, new elevator and circulation patterns, and mechanical systems upgrades.

Phase 2 will establish new linking corridors on the upper floors between the new and existing building, while Phase 3 will add a third story to the West Building.
