The Knick The Knick is a conversion of seven individual four-story walk-ups into a unified condominium complex in which each unit is LEED certified. The buildings, which date from the early 20th century, stood boarded up and uninhabitable for 20 years with only ground floor retail in use. Capitalizing on already existing high ceilings, OCV rehabilitated the upper levels with apartments designed to provide generous and sustainable living spaces. They feature solid hardwood oak floors, high-efficiency central heating and air conditioning, highly insulated low-E windows, dual flush toilets, Energy Star appliances and contemporary finishes. Amenities include rooftop lounge, fitness center, on-site bike storage and parking, remote door answering service and storage for deliveries, and ground-floor retail. |
